K met her brother today. It was a surprise. She knew nothing until I took her into the room with her baby bro and mom. She looked at mommy and the baby and asked "Mommy, what are you doing here?" Difficult Questions

So we were at a football game last night and K pointed out that when she gets older she will have two hands like all of us. It was hard. It was so hard. I had to keep from losing it right there in the bleachers when she said those words. We are expecting another child in March, but that question brought concerns and questions about what it will be like when this baby boy comes into the world.

We are going to find if K has a brother or sister on Thursday this week! I am excited because she will get to see the baby and hear the heartbeat. It is something that is wonderful to be able to share with her. Things are going well. We are just waiting for fall weather. Some day it will get here. Fingers crossed:)

Update on Brace

K had her appointment with the doctor for her back yesterday. She has been out of the brace for quite some time and there was no change in her back! Thank God! This means that for right now she can go without the brace and we probably will be able to put off surgery for awhile. Her curve has not gotten worse, which is a real praise. I don't know if we could put her back in the brace:( She

We just got back a little while ago from the doctor's office. K had an appointment about her brace. She is currently at 3 feet and 30 pounds. According to the nurse, she is perfect for her height. The doctor also told us that he wants her out of the brace completely until August and then we will reevaluate everything. This will be a nice change for K. She can sleep completely free!!! He

Spring Break!!!

Well, this week mommy is off for Spring Break! I am so glad she doesn't have to work. Momma and Poppa G have come to visit and we are having all sorts of fun. Well, our little rose has been very busy lately. She has had tubes put in her ears, gotten a new brace, been set up to see a new hand surgeon, and has also been cutting some of her last teeth.Her surgery to have tubes put in her ears went well. It was a very quick procedure and we have seen a marked difference in her attitude, even on the day of surgery. She had post-op and everything was fine

Last weekend we took K to the zoo close to us. This is her heading into the zoo.K wasn't scared of the lizard, but we left whenever they showed the snakes.
